Not only is this a delicious snack, sunflower seeds are incredibly supportive of your whole body wellness! They have anti-inflammatory benefits, support your immune system, improve your heart health and can even boost your energy! I personally love that sunflower seeds are high in protein and rich in healthy fats! What more could you ask for in a healthy snack?
Now on to the recipe 👇
Ingredients:
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
Recipe:
Soak seeds in vinegar for 1 hour, mixing occasionally
Strain seeds
Toss seeds in salt
Spread in a thin layer on a lined tray + bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool completely + store in airtight container
